On November 20, 2025, a long-time favourite with Toronto Chapter members, Ed Adach, presented “Confessions of a Forensic Detective.” After 43 years of experience, including thousands of Toronto crime scenes, Adach now offers his forensic expertise to authors. Toronto Chapter Members received his direct contact info “for further questioning” in the member newsletter.
Our December “Holiday Celebration” meeting was held at Hot House for Chapter Members and their Plus-Ones.

In January, our former president, Maaja Wentz, spoke about completing her Loon Lake Magic trilogy. The three books in this series combine elements of thriller and traditional mystery with supernatural elements such as secret witch clans, necromancers, and dragons.
